For the purposes of this limitation, the following terms have the following meanings: a 'DMP Customer' is a person either who is party to an existing DMP or in relation to whom the firm is carrying on debt adjusting with a view to that person entering into a DMP; an 'Existing DMP Customer' is a person who is party to a DMP entered into in a previous calendar year and in relation to whom the firm has in a previous calendar year carried on debt adjusting in relation to that DMP; and a 'DMP' is a non-statutory agreement (the entering into of which was facilitated by a person carrying on the regulated activity of debt adjusting) between a customer and one or more of the customer's lenders the aim of which is to discharge or liquidate the customer's debts.
